Senior Software Engineer, Big Data

Summary

Exclaim is looking for an experienced software engineer in our Princeton, NJ office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer that has experience creating, manipulating and managing very large data sets and storage facilities. Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering, the Software Engineer is crucial to developing new technology helping to implement our new UGC-Media cloud service.

The ideal candidate is expected to specialize in specific areas, bring new and innovative thinking to the team and can multitask several projects at once.

This is a dynamic opportunity for an individual with the drive and determination to create compelling consumer Applications.

Experience / Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• Experience with “Big Data”
• Experience with distributed computing environments
• Experience in creating real-time systems is a plus
• Commitment to excellence
• The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Supervisory experience a plus
• Additional key requirements: Self-motivated, organized and good communication skills
